Hi, I'm from the original Howrse 
If we were friends there, feel free to add me here too! If you're new & want to befriend me please write a note as to why you want to be friends or just to get to know you first, as Im not a big talker to just anyone. I like to get to know someone a bit before being friends. I won't just accept random requests anymore & if you're under 18 please ask permission from a parent or guardian as I am an adult that's old enough to be your parent. 
I am also on the International (IH), US, Aust, UK (deleted) & German (used to be) ones, but my IH & CDN accounts are my main ones that I am always on. I also played on Howrse Cup when it was running.
I am one of the first 400 players (#398) on my homebase of the Canadian Howrse 
The avatar of the Mist above is my own creation that also happens to be my first attempt at making one, so please do not steal it without asking me first. If I find it on anyone's page without having asked me 1st, I might ask to have it removed & might report you if you don't. I won't mind sharing it if I am asked first. 
YAY! I finally got my long awaited for Sleipnir! It's taken me 2 yrs of playing this game starting on the International Howrse to finally be able to acquire one. 
Oh well hard to come by easy go, he ran away & now he's gone. I had a few real world things going on at the time (mainly my dog getting some blood infection that is still not totally gone) that I thought I had looked after him (Sleipnir that is) too along with a few daily horses & with other chores on here, but I guess I didn't. I will be keeping him in my avatar anyway even though I don't have him anymore. 
** That "blood infection" that my dog had at the time (summer of 2012) ended up being the beginning of cancer I guess, as this year (summer 2014) I had to end up putting her to sleep. It turned out to be bladder cancer & she was only 5 yrs old. One of the hardest decisions I had to make was to put her to sleep that day at the Vets office (all her blood levels were extremely low & her gums were pale), when she wasn't really showing that she was sick. **
*** Also, NONE of my Special or Divines are for sale or trade either (most of them can't be sold anyway), so please stop asking!! ***
If I do have any horses for sale, then they will be in the sales (which you can see from my page), so please stop asking me. I'm not saying this to be rude, but I am getting a little frustrated at having to PM players back to explain why I don't want to sell. I may just start ignoring your messages from now on so please don't take it personal.
** To add to the above message - Sorry but, I will also not lend out any of my horses to complete strangers out of the blue for any reason. For one thing, I train & look after my horses by following a certain training plan & don't want a stranger working my horses their way & secondly we don't know each other, so don't ask a complete stranger to "borrow" their horse. Plus, there is no way to even "Lend" out a horse anyway. **

** Below is a FOAL GAME Schedule **
*** Update 18/7 - Ok, I have been trying them out & have made some changes to it to accommodate the new changes. They will work for most breeds but you may have to adjust for ponies as I tried this method on a Connemara & had to use a BO to finish her off for the full 60 points. ***
The text in Blue are the changes that were made.
*** You now make your foals play from the ages of 8 to 16 (1y 4m) months to earn skill points. For the new system of skill points instead of GP, the foals get 1.2 skill points for every 1 hr of play & it requires less energy. Also, you have to complete their games now by the end of 1y 4m, which is why I've adjusted the hrs of play a bit to accommodate for the new rules & the loss of that 1y 6m hrs of play. ***
There is marked next to the yr of the foal the amount of hours of play needed to get the full 60 pts of Skills by the end of 1y 4m old.
Also, don't work the foals in Winter when the temperatures drop below 10C, in that case just wait until the weather gets warmer to above that or else you run the risk of the foal not having enough energy to get their full 60 Point of Skills. Unless you want to go through a lot of Black Orchid's. Believe me I know as I speak from experience 
. Also to add to the following schedule - put the foals to bed by 22:00 from 8 mths - 1y 2m and at 1y 4m they still go to bed by 24:00. This is the only time they go to bed that late.
8 MONTHS : 8.5 hrs
10 MONTHS : 9.5 hrs
1 YEAR : 10 hrs
1 YEAR 2 MONTHS : 10 hrs
1 YEAR 4 MONTHS : 12 hrs
