Mushroom Horses: Reduced Straw Consumption

Good news for your straw reserves!

We have reduced the amount required for Mushroom horses to progress.
Daily consumption has dropped from 200 to 40 units of straw.

This change significantly reduces the resource cost to grow them, without slowing down how fast they progress or how fast their skills increase.

Mushroom horses still work the same way. Their skills continue to increase based on the straw given and the season, and they can still be harvested once the required level has been reached.

Come along on Thursday to test out this change with the latest and newest horse in the Mushroom series.

Added Guarantees to certain Bonuses in the Ascent of Olympus

We have added a guarantee to certain bonuses to minimize instances where luck isn't on your side across several rooms.

From now on:

• an energy recharge is guaranteed after two consecutive rooms without an energy bonus;
• a level increase is guaranteed after two consecutive rooms without a level increase bonus (unless all your cards are already leveled up to maximum).

This guarantee applies to available bonuses, not selected bonuses, so as soon as a bonus appears in a selection, the counter is reset, whether it is taken or not.

The goal is still the same as it was during the Ascent of Olympus revamp – to provide a more balanced and strategic game mode. This adjustment doesn't revert that balance, but it is a first step in order to make runs more consistent and minimize overly frustrating situations caused by bad luck.

Adjusted Boss Fragments in the Ascent of Olympus

In some instances, it was possible to obtain more fragments than required to fill up the boss's gauge, especially when several rooms contained them and the gauge was almost full.

From now on, fragment generation takes gauge progress into account to prevent you from obtaining more than required. When the gauge is almost full, any excess fragments are replaced by divine fragments of the moment.

For players who received too many Nyx fragments in the previous season, the gauge has been reset, and a drachma has been given out as compensation.
