 ABOUT ME

personality
He is a kind individual with a big heart and a very strong sense of loyalty, sometimes to a fault. He takes his job seriously, but not always much else, often cracking jokes, causing pranks or otherwise enjoying himself. He doesn't like to have people worry about him and so will often always have on a happy a guise, weather he really is or not. When it comes to his job, he's extremely efficient and do what's needed to get the job done. Determined and driven, if there's something that needs getting done, better be sure it will be, and he won't rest for one second until it is.

history
Clint Barton was born in Waverly, Iowa. At a young age he lost both of his parents in a car accident after his abusive, drunken father lost control of the car. After six years in an orphanage, Clint and his brother Barney ran away to join the Carson Carnival of Travelling Wonders as roustabouts. Clint soon caught the eye of the Swordsman, who took the young boy on as his assistant, making Barney feel jealous and overlooked. Along with the help of Trick Shot, the Swordsman trained Clint to become a master archer. Clint later found the Swordsman embezzling money from the carnival. Before he could turn his mentor over to the authorities, Clint was beaten and left for dead, allowing the Swordsman to skip town. Barney condemned his brother for not remaining loyal to his mentor and, having had enough of the carnival, decided to enlist in the army. He suggested that Clint should join him and make a fresh start. Clint declined his offer. Barney told his brother that the offer still stood, and he would wait for him if he changed his mind. The next morning, Barney stood at the bus depot, waiting and hoping his brother would change his mind. When Clint didn't show, a sorrowful Barney got on the bus and left his old life behind. As the bus was departing, Clint arrived, having changed his mind. However, he was too late. Clint's relationship with his brother deteriorated. Clint adapted his archery skills to become a star carnival attraction, a master archer called "Hawkeye", otherwise known as “The World’s Greatest Marksman.”

ANYTHING BUT NORMAL

special skills
While Hawkeye has no superhuman powers, he is at the very peak of human conditioning; he is an exceptional fencer, acrobat and a grandmaster marksman, having been trained from childhood in the circus and by the criminals Trick Shot and Swordsman. This includes considerable strength, as a supervillain found out when he tried to use the superhero's 250 pounds-force draw weight bow and found that he could not draw back the string to launch an arrow.

Hawkeye has also been thoroughly trained by Captain America in tactics, martial arts, and hand-to-hand combat. Hawkeye excels in the use of ranged weapons, especially the bow and arrow, and carries a quiver containing a number of customized "trick arrows." Barton also shows great proficiency with the katana and other melee weapons. He has gained a reputation for being able to "turn any object into a weapon," and has been seen using items such as tin plates, coins, sticks and other debris to great effect against his enemies.

Master Archer: Barton has trained himself to become a master archer specializing in the use of regular bows, longbows, compound bows, and crossbows with near-perfect accuracy. He is capable of firing multiple arrows at a single target in a few seconds, hitting multiple targets in a few quick strokes, and directly hit small targets in the greatest of distances. He has been known to hit an apple in the center of it. As Hawkeye, he practiced a minimum of two hours per day to keep his skills honed.

Expert Marksman: He possesses very keen eyesight, and his accuracy is virtually unerring; he was trained in his youth by Trick Shot with throwing blades, balls, bolas, and boomerangs. He now has near-perfect precision with any aimed or thrown weapon. He can hurl objects with extreme speed and accuracy, both in direct aim and complicated rebounds/interactions. He was able to shoot down a Chitauri ship without even looking at it.

Expert Acrobat: Barton possesses exceptional human strength, endurance, and stamina. He is athletic, with very good reflexes and agility. This, combined with training as an aerialist and acrobat, makes him capable of complex acrobatic maneuvers.

Expert Fighter: Barton is an excellent combatant, having been trained in various forms quite possibly being in the military. He was able to fight Natasha to a standstill although she eventually bested him in combat. He was capable of overthrowing many of the Chitauri soldiers, alongside the Black Widow, on the ground zero during the battle in New York with utilization of his recurve bow as well as his trick arrows.

Expert Strategist: Barton has been trained in military tactics under the training and service of possible military branches before operating with S.H.I.E.L.D. In The Avengers he commanded a team of S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives, under the unwitting control of Loki just the same as he was, for heisting a vault in Germany and infiltrating the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier with esteemed success. Each of these actions required a diversion.

The Question And Answer Section!

Question: What Hogwart's House would you be in?
Answer: Hm? Oh, well, I think I just might end up being in Gryffindor. That or possibly even Hufflepuff. I am known for being brave... though I suppose it depends on who you ask they might call it stupidity instead. I've always worked hard as well, and am pretty loyal so chances are I'd probably end up in one of those two. Knowing me I'd probably ask for Hufflepuff. I'm a sucker for the underdog you know?

Question: if archery were to be banned from the whole world, and you count NOT under any circumstances, pick up the arrow and the bow.... what would you do???
Answer: Well, I am a marksman. Where my weapon of choice is a bow and arrow. I can use just about anything and everything as a weapon. Even change. I actually gave up my bow and arrow before to become a ninja once(ronin). So maybe I'd be a swordsman instead.

Question: Do you regret anything in life that has to do with Barney?
Answer: There's a lot of bad blood between me and Barney to the point that we are now considered enemies. I regret quite a bit involving him, but I try not waist my time with 'what if's.' I should have went with him, I should have done this, I should have done that. What's done is done. Yes, I regret a lot, but I don't dwell on it.

Question: What would you rather have a male Natasha or a female Bruce?
Answer: I like both of them either way. Natasha and Bruce both would be attractive no matter what, and both amazing people, so I'm quite happy with either of them.

Question: I was just wondering Hawkeye, do you have any slightest feelings for Black widow, or also known as Natasha?
Answer: As a matter of fact, I have. I had the biggest crush ever on her back when we first met. After all, she's beautiful and talented and knows what she wants. We've flirted and gone out, but now we're just really close friends. We support each other and are whatever we need each other to be at the time. Though if she ever wanted to go out, I certainly wouldn't refuse!

Rigel's Question: Dear Hawkeye,
Theoretically speaking, if I were to assemble a massive army of elven warriors and take over the world, (To make the world a better place, of course...), would you oppose me, or join me?
Answer: I would most certainly oppose you. Almost everyone has their own ideals and thoughts, but It's not up to you to make the world a better place. It's up to everyone, and if you waged war, you better know I'm going to defend the planet from your attack. Taking over puts innocents in danger, and that's not better for anyone. If your looking for peaceful co-existence, then you'd have no reason to attack. According to Thor, elves have their own realm, so How about you be a dear and stay in it yea?

Question: Hawkeye, I don't know to much about you except that I know you are a superhero. Do you have superpowers like Thor or Captin America or are you just a human that is REALLY good with a bow?
Answer: Well, there was one time when I got superpowers, but it didn't last forever, but that was when I was already a part of the Avengers. But in the end, I'm just a normal human being with a love of arrows and fantastic eyesight. I work hard to make sure I'm a part of the team. Being the only human without any enhancement on the team is a lot of pressure, but I love it.

Question: If you were in a contest with Green Arow who would win and why?
Answer: I would definitely win. I'm sure Green arrow has great power and everything, but I've been trained in more then just archery. I can kill someone with just about anything, have been trained by SHEILD and the Cap in combat skills. It would be a good fight probably, but the green arrow wouldn't stand a chance against me

Question: Hey hawkeye, if you were stuck in the hunger games what would be your strategy and which player from the book would you exterminate first?
Answer: My strategy would be to be quick. Stick to the high ground as often as you can, and hide out where you know that people will end up finding their way too. Food sources, Water, things like that. And where I favor arrows, I'm trained in every kind of weapon and am just as efficient, so throwing a knife instead of an arrow is no problem for me. I've even killed people with rocks and change. Traps also work well, and of course, stealth
The first person I would kill is Katniss. Slowly, Very slowly. I mean seriously, I know I'm awesome and everything, but they totally got the idea for Katniss from me. An archer? Me. Ends up with hearing loss? Also me. And I just can't accept two versions of me running around at once. Sorry, but the girls gotta go. And by the looks of it, I'd be more willing to fight to liberate all the districts then her, but then again that can just be her in movie.

Question: Hey Hawkeye,
If for any reason you weren't part of the Avengers anymore and were to be recruited into a new team of fighters from any random origin, would you join the Justice League or the Fellowship of the Ring?
Answer: Well, in honesty, I really would rather neither of them. Both of them already have two very capable archers on the team, and we wouldn't want to step on each others shoes, so to speak, Not to mention we tend to have a competitive streak towards other archers to prove we're the best. Though out of those two, I'd probably say the fellowship. That world would be awesome, though I'd rather chill with the dwarves. I could teach Kili a few things, and who doesn't want to see a dragon? But then again, I am more than just an archer and let's be honest here. My personality is pure gold, so I integrate well just about anywhere.

Question: Hawkeye, do you ever dream about your parents?
Answer: I dream about them occasionally. But not very often. I've done, seen, and experienced a whole slew of other stuff by now that that's just another thing to be piled up on in the end. You shrug it off and move on. I don't really remember what they look like anymore to be honest..

Question: If you found the Swordsman injured would you help him or leave him like he did to you?
Answer: Just because I have a personal grudge against him doesn't mean I have the right to leave him there. I'm Avenger. We help when we can, whoever it might be. So yes, even if I was hesitant, I would help him.

Question: Did you cry for your father?
Answer: I don't really think I did until years later. I remember crying for my mom but... I always hated the old man. I don't remember much about him but an angry voice and just as angry fists. So all I could think was that I was glad it was over. I did cry for him when I was about sixteen though. But I haven't cried for him since then either.

Question: Im just curious, i see alot of your horses in sales and ive stumbled upon your page afew times... Why use the persona of "Hawkeye? I u derstand this is a game but you seem to throw yourself into his role quiet convincingly to some... Im just curious is all... I hope im not over stepping by asking?
Answer: Lol, not at all. I just like Hawkeye as a character. I'm an avid Rper more or less, and I often RP using hawkeye, though I'm not limited to him. Out of the other Avengers I like him most. Unlike everyone else, who's gone through some kind of enhancement. Cap has the serum, Tony has the suit, even Nat's gone through the red room. Hawkeye's gotten to where he's at by pure hard work. Force of will, stubbornness. He's become the best at what he does because of his own work and insistence.

He's a squishy soft human in amongst giants, and he's still more than willing to argue. Fight for what's right. But at the same time... he's also the lazy, pizza loving disaster case any other human being can be. Who's got money to spend, but still lives in an apartment because he likes the weekly barbecues on the roof with the neighbors. Who naps when he should be paying attention, has lazy days where he don't want to do anything and go back to bed. All while also having a disability. Which he also doesn't let stop him. He doesn't allow being deaf stop him from doing the right thing, or from being hawkeye. And he doesn't let himself having no superhuman abilities stop him from standing beside someone stronger and having their back anyways. Instead he works on what he CAN do and can control constantly.

He doesn't see himself as a hero, or even as a good guy a lot of the time. He does what NEEDS to be done, which can be a hard call in and of itself. He throws himself head first into what he does with every bit of dedication he has. And he faces the consequences as they come to him. He's just doing what he can to make a difference with the things he knows.

In one of the comics, there was an admittance that he hurts all the time. Clint is human. He hurts, he's in pain, and he's probably broken more bones than anyone else and to still be able to not only move around, but continue to do what he does. That's pure will. That's dedication. And he's still happy. He's sarcastic, and makes comments, and banters with the best of them.

More people would probably answer that Cap's their favorite, or Ironman, or Thor, or anyone else. But he doesn't let that get to him. He's not jealous, or mad, or upset because he's no one's favorite Avenger. He's fine being in the background because he doesn't need recognition in order to feel like he's needed, or important or like he makes a difference.

He likes video games, can't hook things up to his TV, and heck, he can even tolerate Wade... Lots of people can't tolerate Wade. Haweyes can totally handle hanging out with deadpool and find it fun. He's the kind of guy that can shoot the wings off a fly from a hundred meters away but if you throw something at him yelling 'think fast' it'll probably smack him in the face. He's got a sense of humour, loves his dog and his friends and is as loyal as they come.

On top of that, he didn't even learn his archery skills from SHEILD. He learned them from the Circus... the CIRCUS! C'mon now, that's pretty awesome. Going from abused kid, to orphan, to carny, to SHEILD agent, to an Avenger. You gotta respect that. (Like you respect the gear). And he still cares about people. Like Kate. Kate is likely a better Hawkeye then Clint in some ways. But even though he knows she's more than capable of taking care of herself, it wouldn't stop him from worrying when she walks home alone at night. It's just the kind of kind guy he is. And I think it's awesome, and amazing, and beautiful. And we need more hero's like Clint Barton in our lives.
